However the mountain climber doesn't effect anyone else to climb said mountain. Least of all the mountain itself. plus it might look like a mountain but it isn't. Might be a volcano. Works a little differently. you might be dealing with loose soot instead of dirt, air is different, it might erupt, etc.
What you mentioned is true for certain game types that are common and have a relatively small character cast. But it becomes a problem when you want to make something uncommon, plus populate it with enough characters so everything makes sense.
point I'm making is, common game, sure expect common trends. uncommon game, don't expect common trends.
